This project was multi-disciplined. BAI installed into the exterior structural walls over 100 each new building windows, new multi-colored metal wall panels which transformed the building from a former warehouse to a new office/medical facility. The interior scope of the project included the gut of a portion of the building to install multiple common area bathrooms, lobby entrances, main stairwell installations, elevator upgrades, all new finishes and MEP’s to transform the interior of the building from a single tenant to a multi-tenant future office/medical building. This project was challenging with structural re-designs for the new exterior window and stairwell floor openings. At the completion of project, BAI under the direction of the Structural Engineer determined that seismic upgrades needed to be installed. This work was undertaken with a now-occupied building with the installation of new concrete footings, piers, structural beams and columns. This was performed in order to upgrade the building to the seismic/earthquake building code section.
